You can't start your party without a march!

Mary Galime

While you might only associate a good march with the 4th of July, marches have a history of preparing the crowd to celebrate. Listen to this great episode of Classics For Kids  and then answer the questions below and send them to your teacher.

Pick a situation that you can imagine yourself celebrating:

The beginning of your favorite movie

Your or your best friend's birthday

Your team just won or is heading into a game with your biggest rival

School is starting

School is ending

Pick a march that you feel will best prepare you or your audience for the event you picked.

Explain why you chose the march you did.
If none of them seemed like the right fit, find a different one and explain your choice.
